Repair Homes in Grand Bahama
Grand Bahama was severely hit by Hurricane Dorian, and the destruction left hundreds of families with nothing. We are collecting the supplies and monetary donations needed to rebuild and repair homes in the worst affected areas. We are partnered with the Bahamian government on a cash-for-work program that will use these materials to employ locals, creating the opportunity for these families to come home and reestablish their own communities and lives.

The near-term goal of the organization is to empower people struck with tragedy by providing emergency aid, cash cards, food, and housing. Secondary, GEM provides quality education, diverse vocational training and job creation to people in third world countries such as Haiti. The objective is for people in developing countries to have a self-sufficient and sustainable economy, ultimately eliminating their dependency on foreign aid.
Our mission also supports personal growth programs as well as enlightening principals. By bringing these ideas to people around the globe, GEM is fostering deeper, richer and more enduring intellectual connections, transformative experiences, awareness and social charity.
